Your versatile lifeline in everyday life
Neroli is considered the "captured sunshine of the south" and gives us revitalization and mood brightening, not only in the light and sunless time. Whether Napoleon, Goethe or the Italian princess Nerola - they were all crazy about neroli. We don't have to overdo it like the latter, whose obsession went so far that she scented laundry, bed, bathroom, stationery, gloves and all kinds of towels with it, so that Neroli was even named after her. However, it's understandable once you've discovered that this essential oil is a real prodigy. Only after 20 years does a bitter orange tree bear flowers suitable for distillation, which are carefully picked by hand one by one - and only those that are just opening. For 1 liter of pure oil you need up to 1000 kilograms of the coveted flowers. Neroli is a valuable essential oil that is extracted from the blossoms of the bitter orange, also known as petitgrain, by steam distillation.
mode of action
Neroli has antiseptic, strong antibacterial, antispasmodic and calming effects, reduces stress and tension, irritability and mood swings. Neroli oil has strong antiparasitic properties, does not flatulence and generally supports us with intestinal problems. In addition, neroli conveys security and acts as a sleep aid, strengthens our nerves and helps us to resolve old mental injuries. Can also be used as a protective oil if you lack self-confidence, helpful for mental tightness and just as effective against morning sickness and fear of flying. Just sniff the bottle before the flight. It even performs well as a shock oil. According to Susanne Fischer-Rizzi, a luminary in aromatherapy, putting a drop of neroli on a handkerchief and sniffing it is comparable to the "rescue drops" from Bach flower therapy. Neroli oil also helps against high blood pressure, tachycardia and palpitations.
application on the skin
We also take advantage of neroli for its skin cell regeneration and rejuvenation, wound healing and anti-itch properties. It has also proven effective for impure skin. We love neroli as a fragrance and active ingredient in scar care, to strengthen veins and to reduce stretch marks.

A notice:
Please never use essential oils pure, but only mix a few drops of them into a fatty oil so that the recommended number of drops is not exceeded. Other possible uses of an essential oil are, of course, fragrance lamps, nebulizers, diffusers or simply a handkerchief as a carrier material for room scenting, so that the oil can be absorbed through your respiratory tract. Essential oils are the potent essence of a plant, so always be aware of their potency. Essential oils are not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
